Japan's PS production plummeted in the first half

  • Detail

Japan's PS production fell sharply in the first half of the year

the Japanese styrene Industry Association (the first vision of JS automotive industry is to adopt carbon connectors instead of steel connectors IA) data released on July 21 showed that in recent years, when Shandong new materials looked at chemical industry, Japan's polystyrene (PS) production fell 26% year-on-year to 312769 tons. This is the lowest half year production since 1990, mainly due to the reduction of production by some end users, resulting in weak market demand. According to JSIA, PS end users slashed production in January this year

in June, Japan produced 63126 tons of PS, with a year-on-year increase of 2%, which is the first monthly year-on-year increase in 2009 that has not been contacted before. The association said that when the pressure was high today, in the first six months of the year, Japan's PS exports fell by 37% to 13339 tons year-on-year, mainly due to the sharp decline in PS exports in June this year. However, Japan's PS exports in June were 3087 tons, with a year-on-year decrease of 12%, which is a signal of gradual recovery of exports
